Our email campaign is picking up steam! 142 emails and counting! That’s more then our first 2 days combined in less the 12 hours!
And over 50 people have registered to attend our Evening Prayer Service (with a bratwurst dinner following) on April 13th! Why not register and join us yourself!
And now a few excerpts from [...]

100 and counting!

Last night at 40 minutes past midnight the 100th email was sent in our campaign. Thanks so much everyone! As of this moment 111 emails have been sent, keep them coming! I’ll post some highlights later today.

A call to organize!

Sarah_pc recently commented on our campaign plan with some great points.
Right now, we have been successful in making enough noise to get us a little publicity. However, there is a bigger picture we need to consider… Many of us recognize that the cancellation of Issues, Etc is likely a small piece of the [...]

Ideas to help get the word out about our campaign.

Want to help? Here are some ideas.
1. Seminary / Concordia college students: email blast your campus with a link to our site. Only one person needs to do it!
2. Concordia Seminary Saint Louis: would some kind soul put a link to our our evening prayer registration page in the Daily Announcements? The link is http://augsburg1530.org/eventregister/register.htm. [...]

More emails (63 total so far!)

Couldn’t resist posting this two gems!
I listened to and financially supported Issues, Etc..  I find the manner in which this program was taken off the air disturbing and suspicious. The official statement does not jibe with the suddenness of the program’s cancellation. The show was an invaluable resource and outreach tool. Saddly you have silenced [...]

Here are more quotes from emails sent in our campaign!
I am a Baptist pastor and have found Issuesetc to be the vehicle which gave me an appreciation for the LCMS and kept me informed of the truth of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Why was the termination of the program done without [...]

Said it better than I could

No sooner had I written the last post did I read Ms. Hemingway’s article in the Wall Street Journal. She was a former member of the LCMS Board of Communications.
Here’s a pertinent quote from her article:
The Rev. Michael Kumm, who served on three management committees for the station, said that the explanation doesn’t add up. [...]
