We’re getting closer . . .

Jeff and Todd have signed a contract with KSIV-AM 1320 in St. Louis. All of their studio equipment is in and connected. So the team will be furiously testing, testing, testing until they open the mic on June 30.

On weekdays, Monday-Friday, starting June 30, the program will be webcast around the world for
two hours, 3:00-5:00 (Central), on the Internet at the Pirate Christian Radio website:

The second hour, 4:00-5:00, will be broadcast in the St. Louis area on AM 1320.

Todd gave an interview about the show and you can listen to it here: www.tabletalkradio.org/audio/scraps-wilken.mp3

And more details to come!

On a completely different subject, are the parking spaces in front of the Purple Palace big enough to park a fire truck? Is there one next to a hydrant?

  8. I thought KFUO was a Methodist station, or did it get bought out by Oprah?

I wander if they will paint the fire truck lavender.

  9. I wonder how well the format will work having the second hour on the radio. The first hour often has the central time with the guest with more callers on the 2nd hour.

  12. I just got my latest book in the Concordia Commentary Series: “Daniel” by Andrew Steinmann. Here is an excerpt from the author’s biography: “He is a regular guest on the radio progarms “Issues, Etc.’ and ‘The Bible Study’ on KFUO AM St. Louis, Missouri.”

It made me roll my eyes and shake my head.
